Looking for the Best Place to Watch Cricket in Chiswick? Head to School Kitchen

If you're a cricket enthusiast in West London and on the hunt for the ultimate viewing experience, look no further than School Kitchen in Chiswick. Nestled in the newly refurbished Cricket Pavilion at the Latymer Upper School Sports Grounds, School Kitchen is fast becoming the go-to venue for locals wanting to catch the latest Test, ODI or T20 in a relaxed, friendly setting.

Combining quality food, large screens, an unbeatable atmosphere and a commitment to community, School Kitchen is the best place to watch cricket in Chiswick – whether you’re a die-hard fan or just enjoy the occasional innings with a drink in hand.

A Venue Designed for Sports Lovers

When it comes to live cricket, School Kitchen hits all the right notes. The venue has been thoughtfully designed to ensure that fans don’t miss a single ball. With large HD screens positioned throughout the space, including the bright and airy interior, you’ll have a great view wherever you sit.

The pavilion’s heritage and location bring a unique charm to the venue. Watching cricket here feels authentic, especially with the surrounding sports grounds providing a scenic backdrop. Whether it’s a sunny day in summer or a tense winter test match, School Kitchen delivers a brilliant setting for every type of cricket fan.

A Deliciously Diverse Menu

Watching cricket is made even better with great food, and School Kitchen delivers on that front too. The venue is home to a range of world cuisine offerings, including vibrant Sri Lankan dishes from Pirivena, bold and fresh flavours from Quetzalcoatl (Mexican street food), and British comfort classics with a modern twist.

One of the standout menu options is the nostalgic School Dinners menu, created in collaboration with some of the UK’s top chefs – including names like Nadiya Hussain, Richard Corrigan and Mitch Tonks. It’s a clever and playful take on school-time favourites, now reimagined for a grown-up audience.

Whether you're after a full meal to enjoy over a day of cricket or just some snacks and nibbles during a shorter match, there’s something to suit every appetite.

Perfect for Groups and Matchdays

Cricket is best enjoyed with others, and School Kitchen offers plenty of space for group bookings.

Our event-friendly layout and flexible seating options make it ideal for larger parties, and with an on-site bar serving a wide range of drinks, you’ll never be short of refreshments.

Supporting the Local Community

Watching cricket at School Kitchen doesn’t just feel good – it does good, too. A portion of the venue’s revenue is channelled into the Latymer Foundation, supporting educational initiatives across local Hounslow schools.

Even better, ordering from the School Dinners menu helps fund free school breakfasts for children at School Kitchen’s partner schools. So every pint or plate you enjoy while watching the cricket also supports a worthy cause.

More Than Just Cricket

While School Kitchen is a prime spot for cricket fans, it’s also a lively and multifaceted venue offering live music, quiz nights, stand-up comedy, and special event evenings. There’s always something going on, making it a great community hub for Chiswick locals.

Plan Your Visit

With its growing reputation, School Kitchen can get busy on major matchdays. It’s advisable to book a table in advance, especially if you want to secure the best view or are coming as part of a group. The team are always happy to accommodate and can help tailor your visit if you're planning a celebration or special event.
