School Kitchen Serves Up the Best Chiswick Roasts Every Sunday

If you're on the hunt for the best roasts in Chiswick, make your way to School Kitchen, nestled in the charming Cricket Pavilion at Latymer Upper School Sports Grounds. Boasting a generous Sunday carvery, excellent atmosphere, and a warm community spirit, it's quickly earning its reputation as the place to savour a proper roast in West London.

A Feast from Midday

Every Sunday School Kitchen transforms into a roast lovers’ heaven. Priced at £21.95, the roast includes your choice of up to three meats—roast beef, chicken, and or lamb. For vegetarians, the Mushroom Wellington is a delicious and hearty alternative.

All the Trimmings, All You Can Eat

It’s the accompaniments that make a roast unforgettable—and at School Kitchen, they don’t skimp. You’ll enjoy unlimited:

  • Yorkshire puddings

  • Roast potatoes

  • Cauliflower cheese

  • Orange‑glazed carrots

  • Tenderstem broccoli

  • Cider‑braised cabbage

  • Rich onion gravy

Each element is carefully prepared to ensure the perfect balance of comfort and flavour—this is a roast designed for serious diners.

Brunch to Fuel the Day

Not a fan of late‑morning starts? Pop in for an indulgent Sunday brunch. The menu ranges from Full English breakfasts (or vegan versions), eggs Benedict, to sweet treats like American-style pancakes . Whether you're craving something light or utterly indulgent, there's a dish to satisfy.

Delicious Desserts and Drinks

Roast-worthy? Yes. But the meal isn't complete without a sweet finish. Options include vegan New York-style cheesecake, Fruits of the Forest tart, or a Chocolate & Raspberry mousse, plus a tempting selection of ice creams for any age.

To pair perfectly with your roast, the venue offers bottomless bubbles packages (£59.50 with prosecco, £84.50 with champagne) to elevate the experience. It's a delightful option for celebrations or a luxurious weekend treat.

Space for Everyone

From cosy indoor tables to the leafy terrace, School Kitchen offers a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere ideal for families, groups, and solo diners alike. Board games, pool, and the surrounding greenery create a relaxed yet festive feel perfect for Sunday gatherings.

Children are well catered for too, with a children’s carvery (£10.95) and options like chicken nuggets, fries and peas, or pasta available from midday.

A Community at Its Heart

When you choose School Kitchen, you're supporting more than just a meal. A portion of all revenue is directed to the Latymer Foundation, funding education projects in Hounslow schools. What’s more, the profits from our innovative ‘School Dinners’ menu help provide breakfasts for children in need. So your roast has both flavour and meaning.

Easy to Reach, Hard to Forget

School Kitchen is delightfully accessible:

  • Free on-site parking

  • Short walk from Chiswick station

  • Served by buses 272, 533, and 190

  • Located in the Cricket Pavilion—a venue rich in character and charm

It’s the perfect Sunday pit‑stop.
