Sunday Lunch in Chiswick: Discover School Kitchen’s Delicious Menu

If you’re on the hunt for the perfect Sunday lunch in Chiswick, look no further than School Kitchen. This vibrant bar, restaurant, and takeaway nestled in the heart of West London offers a truly delightful dining experience that combines classic favourites with modern twists. Whether you’re craving a leisurely Sunday brunch or a hearty carvery, School Kitchen has got you covered with a menu that promises quality, variety, and flavour — all served in a welcoming and community-driven atmosphere.

A Warm Welcome to Sunday Brunch and Carvery

School Kitchen’s Sunday offerings are designed to cater to all tastes and appetites. The Sunday Brunch runs from 11 am to 3 pm, while the generous Sunday Carvery is available from midday, making it a flexible and convenient spot for a relaxed weekend meal. Whether you prefer something light and fresh in the morning or a robust roast dinner in the afternoon, you’ll find plenty of options to enjoy.

Start Your Day with Classic Brunch Favourites

If brunch is your preferred way to spend a Sunday morning, School Kitchen’s menu offers plenty of delicious choices. For something simple and satisfying, the Bacon in a Roll or Sausages in a Roll provide a perfect quick bite. Vegans and vegetarians are well catered for with the Toasted Sourdough topped with smashed avocado, a vibrant and fresh option that’s both filling and wholesome.

Egg lovers have a wonderful selection too — from the classic Eggs Benedict to the indulgent Eggs Royale or the vegetarian Eggs Florentine. For those craving a more traditional full English, the Full English Breakfast includes bacon, sausages, black pudding, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns, and baked beans, while the Vegan English Breakfast mirrors that classic line-up with vegan sausages and all the trimmings.

If you fancy something a little sweeter, American-style Pancakes with fresh berries and fruits of the forest syrup or with bacon and maple syrup are a delightful treat.

The Hearty Sunday Carvery Experience

Come lunchtime, the star of the show is undoubtedly the Sunday Carvery. Served from midday, it offers a generous helping of traditional roast meats and all the trimmings — a British Sunday roast at its very best. Diners can select up to three roast meats from a choice of beef, chicken, and either pork belly or lamb.

Accompanying the meat is an all-you-can-eat selection of classic vegetables and sides, including unlimited Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, orange-glazed carrots, tenderstem broccoli, cider-braised cabbage, and rich onion gravy. For those who prefer a vegetarian option, the Mushroom Wellington offers a flavoursome alternative that’s just as satisfying.

Perfect for Families

School Kitchen makes Sunday dining an inclusive affair with its dedicated children’s menu, available from midday. Little ones can enjoy a smaller portion of the carvery, chicken nuggets with fries and peas (£8.95), or pasta with tomato sauce — either vegan or with chicken.

Sweet Finishes to Complete Your Meal

No Sunday lunch would be complete without dessert, and School Kitchen certainly doesn’t disappoint. Choose from the vegan New York-style cheesecake, the fruity and fresh Fruits of the Forest tart, or the rich Chocolate and Raspberry mousse. There’s also a selection of ice creams, including vegan vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate, available in one, two, or three scoops.

More Than Just a Meal

School Kitchen is not only about delicious food; it’s about community spirit too. Located in the Cricket Pavilion at the Latymer Upper School Sports Grounds, a share of all revenue supports local Hounslow schools and community education projects. So when you enjoy your Sunday lunch here, you’re also giving back to the local area.
